Rodellar, Spain :

Cayoneering, rock climbing and via ferratas.

Dates TBD

Sample Itinerary:

Day 1: People will arrive in Rodellar throughout the day from whatever destination they are coming from. Let us know if you need help arranging a ride from Barcelona to Rodellar!.

Later that night we will have a welcome to Rodellar fiesta at the legendary Refugio Kalandraka! This refuge holds a special place in the heart of many outdoor adventurers in Europe. There are astounding views, great locals and some really good Spanish mountain food.

Day 2:Via Ferrata Day!

After breakfast we will walk down into the beautiful Mascun Canyon to do a via ferrata up one of the stunning cliffs that comes out of the canyon.

Day 3 : Our first day of Canyoneering!

Canyonrrting is one of the main attractions of Rodellar. People come from all over Europe to explore the picturesque limestone canyons. This type of canyoning is a mixture of floating down turquoise rivers, jumping into pools, rappelling and just relaxing in the otherworldly waters.

Day 4: It’s a rest day!

The days are long and the adventures are big in Rodellar so a rest day is important. Luckily, rest days are blissful in the north of Spain!

You should feel free to do whatever you want, play at the pool, nap, hike down into the canyon or whatever but for those that are interested, we will take a group  to one of my favorite swimming holes ever. We’ll pack lunches, laze in the sun and swim in the turquoise waters.

Day 5: Choose your own adventure day!

Today we’ll break into smaller groups depending on what your desire is. One group will go canyoning in the famous Formiga Canyon, a wild and beautiful place. The other group will go rock climbing in the Mascun, one of the most famous climbing areas in Europe.

Day 6: Exploring the stunning Alcanadre Canyon.

There are magical places in the world and this is one of them! It’s hard to explain how awesome this canyon is but we will float through azure waters, wade beneath massive caves, play on natural rock water slides and  jump into deep pools.

Day 7: It’s sad to say but all great things must come to an end. Check out of the apartments is at noon but there is no rush. For those not leaving early to catch flights, you should play at the pool or go for a hike and enjoy the canyon one last time.
