This isn’t just a climbing trip—it’s a full-on experience. We’ll base out of beautiful colonial towns, climb on volcanic rock, explore limestone canyons, and soak in the local culture with incredible food, face paint, hot springs, and the kind of group energy you don’t forget. Whether you’re a newer climber or a seasoned crusher, we’ll tailor the experience to your level.
Oct 27- Nov 2, 2025
Day 1: Arrival! We shuttle from the Queretaro airport to the “pueblo magico” of La Pena de Bernal . We can explore the charming town, grab some gorditas, maybe walk up to La Pena and relax.
Day 2: After an incredible homemade breakfast in the casa we gather our gear and head up to La Pena for a day of rock climbing. La Pena de Bernal has something for everyone: begginer friendly climbing, multi pitch adventures, and steep overhanging routes that will give just about anyone a proper burn! At night there are several delicious restaurants to choose from.
Day 3: After breakfast, we hike up to La pena for a bigger day of climbing. We explore the bigger routes of La Pena and build on the skills we learned on day one. There’s so much to do here!
Day 4: After breakfast we leave to the charming “pueblo magico” that is San Miguel de Allende. For those still psyched, we could still get a few pitches at la pena before we leave 👍. That night we have Tacos and Tequila tour (sooo fun!) where we will walk the city,get some good stories and history, and enjoy incredible tacos and tequila🌮
Day 5: Cayoneering Day! After a homemade breakfast in the casa we depart to paso de Vaqueros, a beautiful limestone canyon for a day of swimming, cliff jumping and rappelling down waterfalls 😁
Day 6 ::💀 Fiesta! This is a free day to explore the city, go to the hot springs, dine out, get your face painted, enjoy the incredible local celbrations. For the October/ November trip, the Day of the Dead in San Miguel de Allende is a celebration that you will never forget.
Day 7 : Shutttle from San Miguel de Allende to Queretaro and fly home!
